Many such discussions involve the <strong>Orange Line<\/strong>, the <strong>Needham Line<\/strong>, and possibly a proposed extension (reactivation) of the Green Line&#8217;s E branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Last updated:\u00a0<\/strong>March 31, 2024 (added Mount Hope)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"0-west-roxbury\">West Roxbury<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-possible-millenium-park-infill-station-needham-line\">Possible Millenium Park Infill Station (Needham Line)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The (modern) idea of an infill station at Millenium Park was first mentioned in any official capacity by the City of Boston in March 2024, which I have documented <a href=\"https:\/\/teban54transit.com\/migrate\/?page_id=367#2-millenium-park-needham-line\" title=\"\">here<\/a>. This section describes other people&#8217;s opinions on this real-world proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/archboston.com\/community\/threads\/reasonable-transit-pitches.4187\/post-474161\" title=\"Discussions of Millenium Park infill\">Discussions of Millenium Park infill<\/a><\/strong> <em>(F-Line to Dudley and others, March 2024)<\/em>, and earlier\/later comments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>F-Line discusses several aspects of the infill: Conversion to Orange Line platforms; Choice of 1-track vs. 2-track station; Estimated low demand for the station, compared to alternatives like buses; Possible layover tracks beyond the station for eventual Orange Line conversion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-roslindale\">Roslindale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-former-mount-hope-commuter-rail-station-northeast-corridor-and-its-chances-of-revival\">Former Mount Hope Commuter Rail Station (Northeast Corridor) and Its Chances of Revival<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>[Crosslink]<\/strong> Mount Hope was a former commuter rail station on the Northeast Corridor near <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/DYTS9Dg4dmAGnQUq9\" title=\"\">Blakemore St<\/a>.
