For a full index with ideas on all topics, see <a href=\"https:\/\/teban54transit.com\/migrate\/?page_id=174\" title=\"Others\u2019 Ideas: Overview\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This post includes proposals for the <strong>Silver Line (SL) Waterfront<\/strong> system (SL1, SL2, SL3, SLW), as well as other means to serve the <strong>Seaport <\/strong>neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> There are many ideas for converting the SL Waterfront route to Light Rail Transit (LRT) as part of the Green Line (GL). Proposals that closely follow the concept of Green Line Reconfiguration (GLR) <span class=\"note\">(an LRT route continuing west to Back Bay)<\/span> are placed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/teban54transit.com\/migrate\/?page_id=173\" title=\"\">&#8220;Ideas from Everyone: Green Line Reconfiguration&#8221;<\/a> page. Proposals that convert it to a Green Line branch, but largely deviate from GLR, are placed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/teban54transit.com\/migrate\/?page_id=199\" title=\"\">&#8220;Ideas from Everyone: Green Line (General)&#8221;<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Last updated:<\/strong> February 28, 2024 (added discussions on streamlining SL1)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"0-augmenting-silver-line-waterfront\">Augmenting Silver Line Waterfront<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This section describes proposals regarding the specific SL Waterfront routes. While some of them retain the Silver Line branding and\/or the specific routes, not all proposals do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/railsroadsriverside.com\/an-idea-to-relocate-the-silver-line-out-of-the-piers-transitway\/\" title=\"\">RailsRoadsRiverside&#8217;s ideas on moving SL1\/2\/3 out of the Transitway<\/a><\/strong> <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/railsroadsriverside.com\/an-idea-to-relocate-the-silver-line-out-of-the-piers-transitway\/\" title=\"\">Blogpost<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/archboston.com\/community\/threads\/green-line-reconfiguration.5003\/page-60#post-467443\" title=\"\">ArchBoston comment<\/a>, Nov 2023)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The ArchBoston comment has more analyses of jobs and walksheds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/archboston.com\/community\/threads\/seaport-transportation.4647\/post-473363\" title=\"\">Discussions of modifications for SL1, SL2 and SL3 routes<\/a><\/strong> <em>(Feb 2024)<\/em>, and later comments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a series of proposals comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/archboston.com\/community\/threads\/seaport-transportation.4647\/post-473363\" title=\"\">RailsRoadsRiverside&#8217;s idea<\/a>: Similar to the <a href=\"https:\/\/railsroadsriverside.com\/an-idea-to-relocate-the-silver-line-out-of-the-piers-transitway\/\" title=\"\">Nov&#8217;23 post<\/a> above, but this version does not assume GLR and thus keeps SL3 in the Transitway<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/archboston.com\/community\/threads\/seaport-transportation.4647\/post-473559\" title=\"\">TheRatmeister&#8217;s idea<\/a>: SL1 becomes Logan Express, eliminate SL3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Subsequent discussions contain analyses of SL3 and others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-streamlining-sl1\">Streamlining SL1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a subset of SL augmentation proposals.
